This bed is pretty much as advertised. It is sturdy enough for younger kids and is pretty easy to put together. I have three complaints:
1) The bed arrived without instructions! Good thing it was designed to be easy to assemble! Very annoying to take extra time to figure it out on my own.
2) It arrived damaged in some areas due to apparent brute force handling during shipping. The damage was minor and certainly cosmetic. Nothing was cracked.
